roc star backpacks

Love these backpacks, and love roc star/trax in general!!!

Got a bit familiar with this brand and record label when I was in Japan. Home of our favourites, DEXPISTOLS. Roc's music is as good as their clothes, and I think the clothes go hand in hand with the music.

Roc profile coming soon...but for now check their range here.

read this

Wowzers...I just finished reading this book, and I think everyone should read it!

A friend of mine recommended it to me and now I've passed it on to a few mates, who also think/thought it was really good. I just heard that its gonna be released as a movie in 2010, with Don Cheadle (Crash, Oceans etc.) playing the lead role.

Prisons always make for good reading...

pretty sure you've all seen this...but its awesome!

Banksy's first official exhibition in New York is this 'pet store'.

Its supposed to question our 'relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming'.

Bit of a change from his normal stuff...but its still amazing!

Well...this looks good!

I'm lucky enough to be going to see Justice, Busy-P and So-Me next week here in Toronto, as part of their 'a cross the universe' release tour.

custom built decks...wow

MetroFarm Studio of Berlin, have been producing custom ‘DJ desks’ for the past few years, and this is one of the newest desks, which seems to just hang from the wall!

Past projects have included concrete units, and the newer desks come in stainless steel and antique wood. Each desk is ergonomically customised for every customer, and can be tweaked to their liking.

So if you want to take your bedroom DJing to the next level, take a look here

(Mooch are always looking for DJ’s for our Student nights in Durham. If you or anybody you know are interested, please get in touch!)

chainless bike

This sleek bicycle concept was designed by Bradforth Waugh, a freelance designer from Philadelphia. The bike is hubless and doesn't use a chain.

Although it is not yet in production, there are plans to develop a limited number of ‘Nulla’ bicycles in the future, so for now, you’ll have to stick to your Raleigh Activators!

Peep Bradfords portfolio here.

comme des garçon x h&m

This winter we’ll see another exciting collaboration from the high street favourite. After successful collaborations with big names such as Cavalli and Lagerfeld, the Swedish outfit have now teamed up with Japan’s Rei Kawakubo from Comme des Garçon.

A range of items will be released around the world in conjunction with the opening of Japans second H&M store in November. So look out for it and snap it up quick, as it’s expected to sell out real fast!
